Albertsons trip 1/31

Wow, I've been awful about posting my shopping trips lately! Well, here's one I just HAD to post. You all know about the amazing Quaker sale going on through Tuesday, or if not, you can head over to Fabulessly Frugal to learn more. I actually purchased some coupons on eBay for this sale because Quaker chewy granola bars and Cap'n Crunch are two of my husband's MUST-HAVES. I had been having to buy the granola bars at (*gasp*) full-price every week or two and it was KILLING me to have to do it. So, I was determined to stock up on them for my hubby (and for my own sanity). I bought forty coupons on eBay and used almost all of them. I still have five left. I went to two different Albertson's last night so as not to put a huge dent in either one.

Total this all SHOULD have cost me? $179.70. Want to guess how much I paid? $15.85. Yes...fifteen dollars and eighty-five cents!!! I saved $163.85 or 91%!!! I did this in multiple transactions so as to use as many sets of doublers as I could. You have to purchase the Quaker items in sets of five in order to get the promo pricing ($1 each) I used 35 $.55/1 coupons for the granola bars and I had also ordered five $3/5 Quaker coupons that applied to the cereal and pancake mix (making them only $.40/ea) I could have separated it a little more to use two more sets of doublers and save another $1.10, but I just ran out of steam. Lol.
